Manifest what you want! Manifest your dream life! Have you heard people say that?
I’m sure you would have.
You listen to these people and wonder how this even works? Is it just another pseudo science or like a placebo effect or does anything like manifestation even exist?
Today, we’ll discuss;
WHAT IS MANIFESTATION
Manifestation is not really wishful thinking or just being positive all the time.
Manifestation is making something which is not seen to come to reality, derived from the Latin word ‘Manifestatio’
We are in fact manifesting or let’s say creating our own reality all the time. Yes, I said that right!
We’re thinking, feeling or observing something every single moment. We can’t really go without it.
Whether we’re conscious or not, we’re doing all of that and experiencing some sort of feeling or the other.
To Manifest what you want, start creating your reality consciously, by consciously experiencing your feelings, consciously directing your thoughts combined with the right conscious actions.
Actually, we do manifest unconsciously or subconsciously too, because there are always our belief systems and patterns working on the back end to help create us the reality we’re living in currently.
But when we say we want to manifest something, it just simply means that now we want to consciously manifest what we want because now we’re aware of what we want in life.
HOW DOES MANIFESTATION REALLY WORK?
The Spiritual Angle
Everything in this universe carries energy or is made up of energy. Including you, me, the objects around us, literally everything you see or even don’t see.
However, everything does vibrate on a different frequency.
For example, if you’re happy and your friend is sad; you’re vibrating on a different frequency and your friend on a different one depending on the energy you both are emitting because of your emotions and thoughts.
So, based on the thoughts and emotions you’ve; you emit frequencies of different levels.
Therefore, the more you’re happy, the more of it you’ll be emitting in the universe and the more of it you get because you attract your vibrational match.
Like attracts like ✨
And thus you’re able to manifest what you want
The Scientific Angle
Science also believes now that everything is made of energy and it exists as potential in the quantum field or the energy field which is a field of infinite possibilities.
And this quantum field carries information which means every wave particle or every atom is carrying some or the other information.
Thus when this information interacts with our observation or let’s say when our energy interacts with this energy, our mind and focus acts like a magnet to collapse that particular potential into a specific outcome.
As science says, where attention goes; energy flows!
Therefore, when you focus on a desire with certain emotions, feelings and beliefs, And when you do this repeatedly, the quantum field begins to shift
And thus, you’re able to collapse that potential and bring it to your reality and you’re able to manifest what you really want.
Also, according to neuroscience; RAS (Reticular Activating System) helps to filter out information from the environment.
Which means when you start to focus on a goal or desire, your brain starts looking for proofs or opportunities to bring that desire to you.
Ever noticed when you start thinking about buying a red car and you start noticing so many red cars on the road soon enough.
They were always there.
The potential was always there but you were the one who never noticed but when you start thinking, feeling and desiring about it, that’s when you start noticing, bringing that red car into your reality.
WHY DO YOU STRUGGLE TO MANIFEST
You may struggle to manifest because:
- You may be focusing on what you don’t want in life ( stress, loss, debt, lack, doubt, fear)
- You may be holding subconscious limiting beliefs ( “I’m not capable”, “It never works out for me”)
- Your actions might be misaligned with your desires
- You might be impatient
- You might be giving up too soon if you don’t see any results quick enough
- You’re looking for approval from others to validate whether it works or not rather than believing on yourself
- Your nervous system doesn’t feel safe to handle what you want.
HOW CAN YOU START MANIFESTING AS A BEGINNER?
6 steps to start manifesting as a beginner:
Step 1: Get Clear on your Desires
So many times we make our goals based on what our parents want or in competition to our peers or to be accepted in the society.
For example; you may want a decent job in an MNC because working at a big company might earn you respect and good money but question yourself, is that what you actually want?
Is that what will make you happy and satisfied in life?
Or let’s say you don’t have any other option in life because you haven’t figured out what you truly want but right now getting a job is very important for you so you’re just wishing if you just get some job so that you can sustain yourself and your family.
So rather than just wishing some job, start focusing exactly what kind of job, what kind of position, in which company.
Get clear cut on exactly what you want in your life right now, right down the name of the job, position, responsibilities, what you want to do, how you want to work, how you want to be treated and in which company you want to work.
When you get this specific for a job, you can actually manifest a job even if that’s for your livelihood at this point in your life.
Step 2: Feel the emotions
Once, you’re clear; let yourself feel the emotions ahead of time that you would experience after getting this job.
To manifest what you want, you want your body to experience these feelings properly because your feelings emit energetic frequencies in the quantum field and the more you emit the frequencies you want to experience, the quicker an energetic match you will get from the quantum field which results in bringing your actual desire into your actual reality.
Step 3: Visualize your desires
You’ve to visualize what you want because your mind doesn’t know the difference between what is true and what is imagined.
It takes every visual as existing in the now and stores those as memories ( in your subconscious brain ) taking them to be true in your current reality.
And the more you visualize your desires it will feed that truth to your subconscious brain and when something communicates as truth with your subconscious brain, it helps you to bring your desire into actual reality because your brain is always looking for proof or opportunities to prove it to be true as we discussed above.
Step 4: Rewire your limiting beliefs
When you’ve negative beliefs against a desire, it’s very hard to manifest something.
So, you’ve to rewire those limiting beliefs into positive ones to help you manifest what you want faster
You’ve to go to the root cause of these limiting beliefs, understanding where they are coming from.

Step 5: Taking Aligned Action
Manifestation is not about just visualising or writing and then sit back and relax, you’ve to take the aligned action to bring that desire into your reality.
Manifestation is about co-creating with the universe
You’re co-creating your reality by giving the universe your action, your energy and in turn it helps you align the right energy with your desire.
Therefore, take actions in the direction of your desired goal and let the universe meet you halfway.
So to get that job, apply for interviews, meet new people, make connections and the universe will guide you in the right direction and it will help you reach your desired goal.
Step 6: Surrender
And when you’ve done all of that, SURRENDER.
The most important part of all. We’ve to detach and surrender from our desire because as we know the more you’re desperate, the more it goes away.
Don’t get fixated on how and when for your desire.
That’s not your job. Keep that for the universe.
It will come to reality the moment you’re the vibrational match of your desire.
Learn to trust and surrender and see the magic happening in your life
So, you don’t really need to be spiritual enough or even try all the manifestation techniques existing to manifest your desires.
You just have to align your emotions, thoughts and actions with the frequency of your desire and trust the process.
“Believe it. Feel it. Act on it. And watch it unfold.”
